Privacy Policy

StatsDeck ("we," "our") is an add-on (an MCP connector) for Claude that helps you analyze players, weigh matchups, and make smarter fantasy football decisions using NFL statistics and, if you connect one, your fantasy league data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, where we store it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and how to contact us.

Signing in

You sign in through single sign-on, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk, which manages the login and holds your account email. StatsDeck uses a pseudonymous account identifier to recognize you across sessions and does not store your email address. The one exception to email use: when your account is first created, we receive your email from Clerk, immediately convert it to a one-way hash, and send only that hash to Reddit for ad measurement (see "Ad measurement" below). The plain email is never stored.

What we collect

• Account identifier. A pseudonymous identifier from your sign-in, used to recognize you across sessions and associate your saved settings with you.
• Activity data. We record when you use StatsDeck and counts of how features are used, associated with your account identifier, to keep the service reliable and understand how many people are active. We do not record what you ask, your prompts, or any of your conversation content.
• League data you choose to connect. If you link a fantasy league (Sleeper or ESPN), we read your roster, league scoring settings, and available players to answer your questions, and we save this as your profile so the service remembers your league. This includes connection details you provide, such as a Sleeper username or league ID.
• ESPN credentials (private leagues only). To read a private ESPN league, StatsDeck needs your ESPN session cookies. We store them encrypted (AES-256-GCM) so you can move between your private and public leagues — and come back later — without setting them up again each time. They are used only to read your league, never to act on your ESPN account. We do not collect passwords for any platform.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure how the statsdeck.ai website is used, such as which pages people visit. This covers the website only. It is separate from the activity data above, which is about your use of StatsDeck itself once you are signed in.

Google Analytics sets a cookie in your browser so that repeat visits can be told apart. It does not identify you by name, and we do not connect it to your StatsDeck account. If you would rather not be measured, most browsers let you block or clear cookies.

Ad measurement

When you create a StatsDeck account, we send a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address to Reddit's Conversions API so we can measure whether our advertising led to the signup. This happens once, at account creation. The hash is used only for ad attribution — we never share your plain email address, and no fantasy league data, activity data, or conversation content is ever shared with advertisers. This is separate from Google Analytics above and does not involve your browser or any cookie.

What we don't do

• StatsDeck is read-only. We never post, change, add, or delete anything in your fantasy leagues, and we never act on your connected accounts. We only read data to answer your questions — you make every move yourself.
• We do not store your email address.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not record your prompts or conversation content.
• We do not provide betting odds or lines, and we do not collect payment card details directly (any future paid plan would be handled by a third-party payment processor).

How we use your information

To provide and operate StatsDeck, answer your questions accurately under your league's scoring, keep the service secure and reliable, and understand how many people are actively using it. We do not use your information to target advertising. The only advertising-related use is the one-time hashed-email signup measurement described under "Ad measurement."

Where we store it & how long

Your saved profile — scoring preferences and connected-league settings — and any encrypted ESPN credentials are stored by our hosting provider (Railway), associated with your account identifier, and kept while you use the service. Encrypted ESPN credentials persist so you don't have to reconnect each time, until you ask us to delete them. Activity records are retained while the service is in use. We do not store payment details or conversation content.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run StatsDeck, and only as needed to operate it:

• Clerk — handles sign-in and authentication, and holds your account email.
• Google — provides Google Analytics, which measures how the statsdeck.ai website is used, and Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces. Google receives website visit data only, never your league data, your prompts, or your account email.
• Railway — hosts the service and stores your saved profile, encrypted ESPN credentials, and operational logs that include your account identifier.
• Cloudflare — hosts and serves the statsdeck.ai website.
• Reddit — when you create an account, receives a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address, used solely to measure whether our ads led to signups. Reddit never receives your plain email address, your league data, your activity data, or your prompts.
• Sleeper / ESPN — when you connect a league, we read its data to answer your questions; we never send Sleeper any credentials, and ESPN cookies are used only to read your own league.
• nflverse — our source of NFL statistics (licensed CC-BY 4.0); we do not send them any user data.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can disconnect a league in StatsDeck at any time, which removes that league's saved profile. To delete all of your stored data — including any encrypted ESPN credentials — email us at support@statsdeck.ai and we'll take care of it within a reasonable timeframe. You can also request access to or correction of your data at the same address.
